The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance held its annual awards breakfast on March 25 and honored six local individuals and organizations for community service and leadership. The event was presented in partnership with the Chambersburg and Greencastle-Antrim chambers of commerce. Recipients were chosen for leadership, community spirit and contributions to the region. The business alliance said the honorees strengthen civic and business life across the Cumberland Valley.

- ATHENA Leadership Award: Carrie Gray, Franklin County administrator.
- Employer of the Year: Starr Insurance of Chambersburg, led by Derek Taylor.
- Nonprofit of the Year: Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, Chambersburg.
- Spirit of the Community Award: Chris Ardinger, administrator of Antrim Township.
- Emerging Business Leader of the Year: Morgan Horst, supervisor at SEK, CPAs & Advisors.
- Event of the Year: Wilson College’s "We Rise: Honoring History. Inspiring Tomorrow." drone show.
