Bravo! Vail announces free education and engagement programs this summer

Bravo! Vail will offer over 30 free or low-cost concerts and events across the Vail Valley as part of its 39th annual festival running June 22 to July 30. These Education and Engagement programs are designed to provide performances, talks, and family-friendly offerings at little or no cost. The season will mark the closing months of Anne-Marie McDermott’s 16-year tenure as artistic director. Events include concerts, artist talks, residencies, and activities for young listeners.

- The festival runs June 22–July 30 and includes more than 30 Education and Engagement events offered at low or no cost.
- A centerpiece is eight free two-hour concerts at the Vail Interfaith Chapel presenting Beethoven’s complete cycle of 32 Piano Sonatas, performed by pianists Illia Ovcharenko, Ilya Shmukler, Fei-Fei Dong, and Chaeyoung Park.
- The Beo String Quartet is Bravo! Vail’s 2026 Chamber Ensemble in Residence and will present repertoire and participate in a month-long residency and Nature Walk performances with the Walking Mountains Science Center.
- A one-week Young Musicians Summit (June 22–28) will bring string chamber students together with coaching from members of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields and violinist Joshua Bell, ending in two public performances.
- Community Concerts will total 14 performances at sites across the region, and the Little Listeners @ the Library series offers 30-minute interactive programs aimed at children ages 2–7.
- Nature Walks are offered in partnership with Walking Mountains Science Center and are listed with a $20 admission; reservations are required for public Education and Engagement events and program details are subject to change.
