Residents have begun moving into The Waldo, a new 56-unit affordable apartment building at 1880 English Street in Maplewood. The $28.2 million development broke ground in December 2024 and was developed by JB Vang alongside a neighboring project called The Juniper. The Waldo offers one- through four-bedroom units with rents ranging from $700 to $2,200 and units targeted at 30% to 60% of area median income. The project includes dedicated units for people with disabilities and for high priority homeless households.
