Poudre High's girls basketball team beat Doherty 44-30 in a Colorado Class 6A first-round game on Feb. 25 at Poudre High School. It was the program's first playoff victory and first home playoff game since the 2016–17 season, nine years and one day later. The Impalas controlled the game with a defensive approach under head coach Jeff Scheely. Junior Addi Forrest, the team's leading scorer and rebounder this season, led Poudre with 15 points.
