Donna Lupardo announced at a Jan. 8 press conference in the Binghamton State Office Building that she will not run for reelection in 2026. She is serving her 11th term in the New York State Assembly and was first elected in 2004. The 123rd Assembly District covers the City of Binghamton and nearby towns including Union and Vestal. Lupardo has been active in regional initiatives and local programs throughout her time in office.
