Strathcarron Hospice was chosen as the beneficiary of a community Christmas tree collection scheme that raised more than £10,137. The campaign collected 569 real trees in exchange for donations made via JustHelping. The hospice thanked residents and a range of local businesses that volunteered staff, vehicles and collection space. Sustainable Thinking Scotland CIC will handle recycling of the trees in Bo'ness.
