Robert "Bob" Langdon passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 4, 2026 at Espanola Regional Hospital, surrounded by love. He was described as a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend whose life was marked by integrity, compassion, hard work and quiet strength. Bob worked for many years at Inco and later with the Township of Nairn as a general labourer, and he took pride in many practical skills and in the outdoors. His family notes his faith, prayer and devotion to those he loved.

- A Celebration of Life will be held January 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Nairn Centre Community Centre, 64 McIntyre Street, Nairn Centre, ON; as per his request, complimentary drinks and an afternoon buffet will be available, guests were welcome to BYOB, and Bob requested dancing and storytelling.
- In lieu of flowers, donations were suggested to the Cancer Society and/or the Canadian Wildlife Foundation; the family extended thanks to the staff and nurses at Espanola Regional Hospital. Arrangements were entrusted to Ranger's Cremation and Burial Services Ltd and online condolences can be posted at the provider's website.
