Denham Kelsey passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at the Comox Valley Hospital. He had published his third book just days before his death and remained active and engaged late in life. Born at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, he spent his life on the west coast and pursued a long professional and volunteer career. In later years he and his wife Sheila lived on Thetis Island before moving to Berwick Comox Valley when Sheila developed dementia.
